House rules in our practice

We are happy to be of service to you as healthcare providers. We would like to draw your attention to the house rules that apply in our practice:

Entry

Please report to the reception desk upon arrival.

Treatment

Treatment and/or consultation takes place by appointment only. If you call early in the morning with a complaint/toothache, we will try to help you that same day.

1st consult

Please bring a valid form of identification to your first appointment. Treatments are always by appointment. You can help us prevent treatments from running over by arriving 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment.

During the first consultation, we collect the necessary data to map out your current oral condition. This questionnaire will be checked during each visit and adjusted if necessary.

To ensure good oral care, we recommend visiting the dentist for a check-up twice a year. We are happy to see children aged 2 and older for a check-up.

Make an appointment

To schedule an appointment, you can contact us by phone at (074-205-1385 or 06-5980-9719) or by email (info@tpcoredental.nl).

Cancelling appointment

If you wish to cancel an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. An appointment must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance by telephone or email. In the event of no cancellation or a late cancellation, we will be forced to charge you for the reserved time. We make every effort to minimize waiting times. Therefore, would you please contact us if you are delayed?

Submit changes

We request that you inform us of any changes to your details, such as address, telephone number, and insurance, in a timely manner. You can do this by telephone, email, or in person at the reception. If there are any changes regarding your health or the medication you are using, please inform your treating dentist when you visit the practice.

Missed appointment

Every day, our team devotes great care and attention to preparing appointments in order to treat you as a patient as well as possible. Unfortunately, we are also regularly confronted with patients who do not show up for their appointments, or arrive much too late. This is not only annoying, but also means that our team cannot provide care during that time. In accordance with national guidelines, dentists and dental hygienists are permitted to charge for missed appointments. These costs are not covered by your health insurance and must therefore be paid by you personally.

These depend on the treatment that was scheduled.

Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours in advance. You can do this by phone or email. We also expect you to let us know immediately in the morning in case of illness. This way, we can try to help someone else during the time reserved for you.

It is always the patient's responsibility to properly note down an appointment, follow it up, and reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.

Behaviour

We do not tolerate unwanted sexual advances, racism, or discrimination. Threats, abuse, and other forms of aggression are prohibited and will lead to immediate removal from our practice.

Clean mouth

We prefer working in a clean mouth. Please brush your teeth before an appointment.

Medication use

It is important for the treatments to know if you have any health problems or if you are taking any medication. Therefore, please let us know yourself. During the check-up appointment, we will go through a medical questionnaire with you, during which this will also be discussed.

Invoicing

Our billing is handled by Infomedics. You can direct substantive questions regarding the bill to the practitioner or at the reception desk. For payment arrangements and other questions, please contact Infomedics. Further information regarding payment terms and contact details can be obtained from the receptionist or on the Infomedics website: www.infomedics.nl.

Privacy

We value your privacy and handle your data confidentially. Your right to privacy consists of a duty of confidentiality and the right to treatment without the observation of third parties. The duty of confidentiality can only be breached with your consent, in the event of a legal obligation, or in the event of a conflict of duties.

Camera surveillance

Our practice is secured by camera surveillance. By scheduling an appointment with us, you agree to and give permission for the use of camera surveillance, in which your face may be visible.

Instructions from practice staff must be followed at all times.

Theft, damage and loss

We cannot be held liable for damage, loss, or theft of property.

Drugs, weapons and (stolen) goods

The use, trade, or possession of any form of drugs or (stolen) goods is not permitted. Carrying knives and other weapons is strictly prohibited.
